When I started out in 1999 I knew very little about the condition, but I was determined to do something about it. I studied everything I could lay my hands on about ADHD at the same time providing coaching to small groups no bigger than eight - typical ADDer! Those groups are still provided today but the size has been expanded to no more than 12 people.
The point of this section of the website must be very clear; as good and nice as it is to learn about ADHD, have the wonderful “ahaaa…” moments when behaviour or events suddenly make sense, at the end of the day, you have to do something about it!
The sections listed below contain the most important and beneficial things you can do about starting to lead a contented and productive life. There are others of course, but these will deliver the the quickest and most sustainable results.
ADHD is a complex condition, made even more complex by the environment the ADDer has been in, and is in now.
When it comes to treating ADHD, the most important consideration is not the symptoms, it's the impairments, in other words, how the condition prevents or impacts you from leading a contented and productive life.
There are a number of different symptom forms available. We analyse the Copeland forms, using between 3 and 6 forms per child. We propare reports to assist medical professionals in making more accurate diagnoses
We have developed comprehensive and group-specific impairment assessments for teenagers, different male and female versions, one for non-working adult females, and one for currently working females, and one for adult men. The questions are adapted to be relevant to the different groups.
Today we provide one-on-one coaching via Skype to clients world wide - this works very well, better in some aspects that one-one-one in other venues. The most important benefit of using Skype is that the client does the coaching in their own venue.

Talks and Workshops
We can proudly say that over the last 5 years we have trained approximately 5 000 teachers and educators. Dave Pughe-Parry is a sought after conference speaker doing talks and running workshops.
The original Living ADDventure® Support Groups now follow a 12 Module program. The material is also available on our own training site, to enable group members to catch up if they miss a session, or if they need more time to assimilate the teaching.
Support Group Leader Training
We provide training to people who have completed the 12 module program to become Support Group Leaders themselves.
ADHD Coaches Training
This will only be available during the first quarter of 2018. Training to become an ADHD coach is a 2-year program with Living ADDventure® and requires a deep commitment and a genuine desire to help others beyond one’s own family. Over the years we have trained some 15 coaches of whom only a handful are still training, as their children and/or spouse have moved on.
Study Skills Training
This is a 9-module course that will be offered as a 2-day course in a classroom format with online access to the material, as well as an online course only. This course will be available from Mid July 2017
We have our own specialist training website where you will be able to find all our training material. Currently the 12-Module Parent Training Course is available.
The idea is that every person who signs up for any of of Living ADDventure® course will be able to access the material at any time.
